Cecilia shared these recipes on the Wheat Belly 10-Day Grain Detox Private Facebook page, ways to make some tasty non-alcoholic cocktails that include prebiotic fiber from raw potatoes.
“Start by salting the rim of a wide-stem glass (as bartenders do). In a blender, combine a cup of crushed ice, a handful of mixed frozen berries (no sugar), a tablespoon of Virtue, Lakanto, or Swerve sweeteners, a squeeze of lemon or lime, half a small raw potato. Blend until it becomes slushy.
“Pour carefully in the center of the salted-rim glass and garnish as shown.”
Isn’t that a terrific idea? It makes it so easy and delicious to add another 10+ grams of prebiotic fiber to your day.
Of course, if you wanted to make this an alcoholic beverage, add your choice of safe vodka, rum, or tequila.
