Katrina shared her 5-month progress photos living the Wheat Belly lifestyle (posted on our private Wheat Belly 10-Day Grain Detox Challenge Facebook page):
“I started this way of life mid March of this year and today I did a selfie to check my progress. I love what I am seeing!
“43 lbs in 4 months. I will take that. After seeing the before and now pics together brings me to tears–that’s tears of joy! I am more than half way to my goal.”
Katrina provides a perfect example of how, even beyond the effects of weight loss, facial appearance is changed living this lifestyle. You have heard me before point out that cheek inflammation deflates, seborrheic skin rashes (which Katrina did not have, at least not in the photos), the contours of the face change, around-the-eye puffiness recedes and yields bigger eyes (a nice change seen in Katrina’s photos). But I believe that there are changes in appearance that somehow go beyond this—but I have not been able to put my finger on.
How about you? Are you seeing any patterns in these before/after photos, alterations in facial appearance that yield “after” (or “during”) photos that look like it’s an entirely different person?
